Home-Based Crisis Intervention

LIVINGSTON AND YATES COUNTY RESIDENTS

Life can present unexpected difficulties. Our dedicated team of professionals is here to provide you with the support and resources you need to navigate through these challenging times.

Home-Based Crisis Intervention (HBCI) services are short-term, mental health intervention services, provided in the comfort of your own home and community. The program serves children/youths, ages 5 to 20 years, who are at imminent risk of out-of-home placement or hospitalization. HBCI services focus on the safety, stability, and well-being of the child/youth within their own home and community.

The HBCI program typically lasts between 4 to 6 weeks and is designed to offer timely and effective support to individuals and families experiencing crises or facing challenges that require immediate attention.

Our team members, or interventionalists, are trained to provide trauma focused, strength-based crisis interventions. Each family will work closely with one of our highly trained staff who will assess your needs, identify goals, and collaborate with you to develop a personalized plan of action. All members will have the opportunity to learn new skills and techniques to help prevent future crises.

Throughout the duration of the program, you can expect:

• Individualized Support
• Crisis Management
• Crisis focused Skill-Building
• Collaboration with Other Service Providers
