VIRTUAL TOASTINGS & TASTINGS FUNDRAISER HONORING FATHER LEWIS BROWN

Catholic Charities Steuben/Livingston was SO looking forward to sharing an evening with you at our annual Toastings & Tastings Fundraising event; traditionally a welcome break from the winter doldrums and a chance to spend a fun-filled evening with family and friends. Unfortunately, we have had to cancel this year’s in-person gathering for the safety and well-being of our guests, volunteers and staff. We hope to celebrate with you again sometime soon and that you will continue to support our mission. Since we are unable to be together, we will raise our glasses to one another virtually and in good cheer!

We also want to honor the memory of Father Lewis Brown, our dear friend and host of our 2020 Toastings & Tastings event. Fr. Lew was totally committed to our community and served on our Board. He personally raised significant awareness and funds for the poor throughout Steuben County. And currently, we are living in a time when many of our neighbors’ glasses are less than half full. The combined health and economic crises are brutally felt by too many throughout our area. Sadly, people who donated before found themselves asking for help for the first time ever. Like us you might think “There but for the grace of God go I”.

Catholic Charities Steuben/Livingston strives to ensure our neighbors have food, clothing, shelter and medical services and the ability to achieve individual and family goals emphasizing self-sufficiency. We remain steadfast in our commitment to helping one another. If you are so inclined, we ask that you donate today in honor of Father Lew.
