Children’s Specialized Services

Our various services involve working directly with eligible* children and their families at home and in the community to build skills in areas such as emotional regulation, social skills, and life skills. Some of the services also include prevocational and supported employment for older teens.

*These Medicaid billable services are by referral only and generally require that the child be receiving Medicaid and enrolled in a Health Home. The Health Home Care Manager must complete specialized assessments and gather recommendations from other providers prior to completing the referral for these services. These services include Psychosocial Rehabilitation (formerly known as skill-building), Caregiver Family Supports and Services, Community Self Advocacy and Training, Prevocational Services, Supported Employment, and Planned Respite.

Adult Specialized Services

HCBS (Home and Community Based Services) and CORE (Community Oriented Recovery and Empowerment Services) are provided to people enrolled in NYS Medicaid who have specific medical and mental health needs.  We help people in Livingston and Steuben County who are living with or in recovery from mental health or substance abuse disorders.
