Bags of Hope

Participate in our Bags of HOPE initiative, sponsored by Barilla. Any individual or group (a family, business, church, community, or school organization) can participate and support a specific program in Livingston County by acquiring items on one of available lists, which may change from season to season. These are items that are in specific need by our staff, clients, or programs that we are always seeking an increased supply of.

Our Director of Volunteers and Community Outreach is happy to help you register to pick up your bags from our Mt Morris office, or potentially deliver them to your church, organization, or business. Once the bags are filled with items from our available lists, you are welcome to drop them at our office or contact Nick Hendee to arrange pickup.

  1. Catholic Charities staff will assist you by identifying the program(s) in most need, and will provide a list of the specific items that are in short supply.
  2. Let us know how many bags you would like to fill and if you have multiple locations, and CCSL staff will have the bags prepped and ready for pickup or delivery with the lists of needed items.
  3. Determine a start and end date for your Bags of HOPE project. (2-4 weeks)
  4. Identify where the filled bags will be collected by your group or make arrangements with Nick.
  5. We are happy to assist you in making this project for your group successful; think of it as a targeted food drive/necessities collection.
  6. Celebrate your group who participated in supporting the communities Livingston County who look to our organization for assistance!

Contact Nick Hendee at [email protected] or (585) 447-4848, or the Mt Morris office (585) 658-4466 for more information or to arrange drop off/pick up.
