Peer Advocate – Steuben County

The Peer Advocate functions as a support for individuals referred to Steuben County Community Services for assistance in recovery for Substance Abuse Disorder(s), Mental Health condition(s) or both. The Peer Advocate will provide services as assigned at one or more of the three (3) Steuben County Alcohol and Substance Abuse outpatient clinics located in Bath, Corning and Hornell.

High School Diploma or GED required. Must be certified or have provisional certification as Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA). Must successfully complete the International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium (IC-RC exam).
