Bath Community Child Day Care is the only licensed child care center in Bath. It provides high quality, constructive early learning experiences for infants at least six weeks old, toddlers and preschoolers as well as after-school and summer enrichment for school-aged children. Trained, credentialed staff deliver nurturing care in safe and fun environment designed to support developmentally appropriate play, exploration and learning. Breakfast, lunch and a snack are provided each day.
The daycare is located at 36 E. Morris Street, Bath, NY 14810. Our current hours of operation are Monday – Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., year round.

Following a recent audit by the Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS), challenges have been identified in our operations. To address these issues, we are collaborating closely with OCFS to implement corrective measures including additional staff training, revising supervision policies, and conducting thorough observations. We seek to remediate these challenges by June 2024 and emerge as an even stronger childcare center. Our commitment to oversight ensures that the necessary measures are taken to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our childcare services in fulfilling its crucial responsibilities. Through these efforts, we aim to show our commitment to safety remains unwavering. We are dedicated to providing a secure and nurturing environment for the children in our community and to improve the quality of services under OCFS’s oversight.
