Home-Based Crisis Intervention

LIVINGSTON AND YATES COUNTY RESIDENTS

Home-Based Crisis Intervention (HBCI) is a program for children/youth, ages 5-21, who are at imminent risk of psychiatric hospitalization or residential treatment. The program is short and intensive working with the child/youth for 4-6 weeks or 6-9 weeks depending on the diagnosis. The Interventionist will work in with the child 8-10 hours weekly.

HBCI provides skill building, counseling, and treatment planning, while focusing both on the strengths and needs of the family. Intake and treatment start within two business days of receiving the referral. Our HBCI interventionist will carry a max case load of 3 intensive clients. There is a 24/7 on-call service available for crisis intervention for those enrolled in the program.

Referrals can be made by emailing [email protected].
